HP Photosmart Plus All-in-One Printer - B209a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The B209a printer was not used for some time. Cartridges were removed. Bought new cartridges and installed. Printed four 4x6 photos. Notice black streak across photos. Removed the cartridges and printed head. Cleaned the print head and the carriage with alcohol. Replace printhead and cartridges. Error 0xC19A007 popped up. Now error 0xC19A003 keeps popping up. Cleaned the printhead numerous times. Removed and replaced several times. Followed all the instructions I found on HP site. Inspected the print head with a magnifying glass. Saw nothing out of the ordinary. Still not working. Any suggestions for a solution would be appreciated.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you contact HP support in your region regarding the service options for your printer

 

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

 

1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device. 

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 

6)Fill the web form and proceed further.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

I purchased a new printhead. That did not fix the problem. Prior to this problem appearing, the printer was working fine and ran out of ink. I bought new, genuine HP cartridges and installed them. I received the following error:

"Printhead Problem. Remove all cartridges. Next lift black latch and remove printhead. Then reinstall printhead and cartridges." I have done this many times. Same error keeps popping up. I have cleaned the printhead contact with alcohol and Q-tips and lint-free medical gauze. Same problem. I bought a new printed and repeated the procedures and is receiving the exact error as when I started out. I have seen videos of resetting the printer, but cannot do so since I cannot access the main configuration screen. I am not aware if there is a way to reset the printer firmware. I would appreciate all your help.
