Hello,
I'm planning to buy a Laserjet pro MFP M283fdw printer. It's my first laser printer and I want to know if it was possible to continue printing with it even if the colored cartridges are empty ? What if I remove the colored cartridges to print in B/W only?
Thank you !

Welcome to HP Community forum.
This printer model needs all cartridges to be in to start working at all.
If any of your cartridges will be empty the printer will stop until you replace it.
And its highly not recommended to use empty cartridges as they collect waste toner and after longer use they will start to spill the waste in your printer and brake some components like transfer unit or will make the laser unit dirty and unusable
Just a electronics enthusiast trying to fix everything.
