Hi @Farah16,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the printed images from your HP Ink Tank wireless printer have a strong rose or pinkish tint, there may be a few potential causes. Here's how you can troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Check Ink Levels: Make sure the color ink levels are correct and that no ink cartridge is running low or dried out, especially the color cartridges like cyan, magenta, and yellow.
Clean the Print Head: Over time, the print head can become clogged, affecting color accuracy. You can use the printer’s built-in cleaning function:
- Go to the printer’s control panel or HP Smart app.
- Find the option for cleaning or aligning the print head.
- Perform the cleaning cycle and print a test page.
Color Calibration: The color settings might need adjustment. Try recalibrating your printer:
- Go to the printer settings and look for the color calibration option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to recalibrate it.
Printer Driver Settings: Ensure that your printer driver settings are not set to a mode that enhances or shifts color, like "Vivid" or "High-Quality." Check if the color settings are in default or standard mode:
- In the print settings on your computer, look for color options (e.g., color mode or quality) and set it to the default or standard.
Paper Type and Quality: Using the wrong type of paper or low-quality paper can sometimes cause color distortion. Make sure you’re using the recommended paper type for your prints.
Test Different Software: If you are printing from a specific application (like Photoshop or Word), try printing from a different software to see if the issue persists. Some applications have color management settings that could be affecting the output.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
