Hello - I need help getting my printer regionalization reset.  I submitted a support ticket with the request and it was closed with no action.

I recently lived overseas and have moved back to the US.  It is set to z20 and I need it to work with z10 cartridges. The printer is out of warranty but works fine.  I can't seem to find a number to call HP customer support.

Thanks

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Did you reset the printer when you were in a different country to use the Printer there? Which country were you in?

Let us know 🙂

Thanks!

@betty0610 No, it didn't have regionalization at that point. I lived in Korea.

To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.

Please do let us know.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

I have all the USB cable, software installed and the printer cartridges... what is the process to reset the printer regionalization?
