@Adan75, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Basic Checks

Restart the printer: Turn it off, unplug it for 1 minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check the cartridges:

Open the cartridge door.

Remove both cartridges.

Gently wipe the copper contacts on the cartridge and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.

Reinsert the cartridges firmly.

Update Drivers & Software

Go to: HP DeskJet 2700 Drivers

Download and install the latest drivers and firmware for your OS (Windows/macOS).

Make sure the HP Smart app is updated too.

Test Print

Try printing a test page:

Press and hold the Information (i) button on the printer for a few seconds.

Or, go to the HP Smart app > Printer Settings > Print Quality Tools > Print Test Page.

PDF Specific Issue

If it only fails when printing PDFs, try this:

Open the PDF in a different app (like Chrome, Firefox, or Foxit Reader) and print from there.

When printing from Adobe Acrobat:

Go to Print > Advanced > Print as Image, then try printing again.

Make sure your printer is selected, not “Microsoft Print to PDF” or something else.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
