I bought a HP 3830 when I was living in the USA.
Now I am back to France. The printer works perfectly, until I had to change cartridge.
In the USA, it is HP 63, and in France it is HP 302
And do you know what: the printer says "Cartridge: Not Intended for Use in Current Device"
What ??? HP 302 is the official cartridge for the 3830, and you can't find the 63 in France.
So what do I do now ? I want to make clear that 1) the printer was working properly, and 2 I bought official HP 302
There is even funny: I went into the HP hotline, and inputed my printer serial number, [Personal Information Removed]
And the web site says "unknown serial number"
Message for HP : are you aware that there are many countries in the world, with people moving from one to another ?
Thx for help
Best

Welcome to HP Support Community!
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Keep me posted.
