Printer cartilage set up error message

Hello,

I was gifted a printer. (Personal information removed) It did not come with ink so I have since purchased ink. I put the ink in and I am receiving an error message on the printer that says "Use setup cartilages that came with the printer). I did not receive any setup cartilages and need help on bypassing this step in order to use this printer. Could you please help in assisting.

Note that this printer requires genuine HP ink

To check if an HP ink cartridge is genuine, look for a security label on the cartridge, scan the QR code on the label with your phone, and then go to HP's website hp.com/go/ok to verify the serial number on the label; if the label appears tampered or the serial number doesn't validate, the cartridge is likely not genuine.


Non HP ink can be used on this list of HP printers.
