Hi @doczac1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY 6452e All-In-One Printer is continuously printing an alignment page after every print job, it can be quite frustrating. This issue can occur due to various reasons, and here are some steps you can follow to try and resolve it.
Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. HP often releases firmware updates to fix bugs and improve performance. You can check for and install firmware updates through the printer's settings menu or the HP Smart app.
Check Ink Levels: Insufficient ink levels can sometimes trigger alignment page printing. Make sure your printer has enough ink in all cartridges.
Perform Manual Alignment: Follow these steps to manually align the printer:
- Load plain white paper into the input tray.
- On the printer control panel, go to "Setup" or "Settings."
- Navigate to "Printer Maintenance" or a similar option.
- Select "Align Printer" or "Align Print Cartridges."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment process.
Clean the Cartridges and Printhead: Sometimes, dirty printheads or cartridges can lead to alignment issues. You can clean them using the printer's built-in cleaning function. Refer to your printer's manual for specific instructions on how to do this.
Reinstall Printer Drivers: If you're printing from a computer, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers. Outdated or corrupt drivers can sometimes cause printing problems.
Reset the Printer: You can perform a partial or semi-full reset on your printer, which may resolve the issue. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this. Be aware that this will reset some settings, so you may need to reconfigure the printer afterward.
Check for Paper Jam: Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer. Even a small piece of paper stuck in the printer can trigger alignment issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
