My printer is not printing black. It has been streaky in the last couple of weeks, and I did printer maintenance this morning 3 times, and now the black isn't printing at all.

Hi @KelliW7,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your printer is not printing black after maintenance, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check Ink Levels: Make sure the black ink cartridge isn’t empty or low. If it is, replace it with a new one.
Remove and Reinstall the Cartridge: Sometimes, removing the cartridge and reinstalling it can help. Make sure it’s seated properly.
Clean Printhead: Use the printer’s built-in utility to clean the printhead. This can often resolve streaking and printing issues.
Print a Test Page: After cleaning, print a test page to check if the black ink is working.
Check for Blockages: If you’re comfortable, check the printhead for any blockages or dried ink. Clean it gently with a lint-free cloth and a small amount of distilled water if needed.
Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Visit the manufacturer’s website for the latest versions.
Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
