Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? Without this information it is difficult to help.
The page that prints is an alignment page. An alignment is performed when an ink cartridge is changed. If the alignment is not completed the page will repeat at the next power cycle. Complete the alignment and the page will stop printing. This has been covered many times in this thread. Some printers require the page to be loaded into the scanner and the scan or OK buttons pressed shortly after printing to complete, others have an automatic alignment process.

I am experiencing the same problem. Everytime I turn the printer on it prints a test page. My printer model is HP Color LaserJet CP1215. Please offer me a solution to this problem.

My printer does the same thing. I have a Color LaserJet CP1215. How do I resolve this problem? It is a complete waste of good ink and paper. It prints up a test page everytime I turn it on, additionally, it goes through some type of process where the three lights blink. The upside green C light, the triangle with ! light and the Green Button paper feed light. It takes the printer about 5 minutes to start up. What to do?

Hello DavidAnderson. I understand your LaserJet CP1215 prints a test page every time you turn it on.
Does the test page look normal? Is it skewed or in any way distorted?
Can you verify that you have the latest firmware installed? Here is a link to the latest firmware.
Let me know the result. Have a lovely day.
Please click the white star under my name to give me Kudos as a way to say "Thanks!"

My printer is a Photosmart c4680. It prints an alignment page at every switch on.
I then scan the page and get a message saying' 'Alignment successful.'
Next switch on, same thing again, print and scan and 'successful' message.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest software and drivers several times but still the same procedure every switch on.
