Error message tells me there is a problem with "printer or ink system.  Please restart; if problem persists contact HP."  
Problem persists. 
BTW when I have entered the Serial number from the back of the printer into your (HP's) support page, your app rejects it.

When encountering an error message indicating a problem with the printer or ink system, it is recommended to follow these steps:
 

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer using the power button and disconnect the power cord. Wait for about a minute before reconnecting the power cord and turning on the printer.


Check Environmental Conditions: If the printer was stored or is currently in an environment below 5°C (41°F), allow it to warm up to room temperature. It may take up to 12 hours for the printer to reach an operational temperature.
