I bought the printer HP laserjet pro mfp m183fw toner in Hong Kong. And then I bring it to United Kingdom.
The toner model I used in Hong Kong is 215A. But I can only buy 216A toner in United Kingdom. The 216A toner is show to be compatible for the model.
However, when I installed the new Black toner (216A) in the printer, it showed an error "incompatible black cartridge" and do not allow me to proceed.
My questions:
1. What can I do to switch the region support of my printer?
2. If reset the printer region is the resolution, will my existing 215A in other color pipe continue working with my new 216A black toner?
Thanks,

Hi @peterchan801,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you have moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I have sent you a private message with reset instructions. In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
