Printer will not recognize new original HP toner cartridge.
Installed and printed w/o prob. 3 days later gets error message saying I must reinstall the cartridges because of communication error with toner cartridge.

I see that the printer is not reading the ink toner. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'Install Black Cartridge' Displays
Make sure it is an HP ink toner.
Insert an alternate ink toner if available and check. If it works fine, then the previous one is defective.
