Hi I brought a ho envy 6132e and ran out of ink. I went and brought some 305xl which I thought would fit but found out I need 308.  Is there a way I can get printer to recognise the 305xl or not.

The HP ENVY 6132e is precisely designed to work with HP 308 series cartridges, ensuring smooth, reliable performance and crisp print quality. While the HP 305XL may appear similar, it is not compatible, and the printer will not recognize or function with it.

 

To experience consistent, high-quality printing, we recommend installing the HP 308 cartridge, which is the correct match for your printer.
