Hello, I use 902 cartridges with my OfficeJet Pro 6968 printer. Recently, I had to change all my cartridges (magenta, cyan, yellow, and black) due to low ink levels. After replacing the cartridges, black and yellow print fine, but magenta and cyan don't print at all. I had additional spare magenta and cyan 902 cartridges and tried putting those in, but same problem: 2 different pairs of brand-new magenta and cyan cartridges fail to show those colors at all when running the test page.
I believe I got my printer for Christmas 2018 (that is, the end of 2018 going into 2019).
I tried doing printer maintenance and using the "Clean Printhead" feature, and no luck there. I'm still not able to print in magenta or cyan when it comes time for me to print the test page. I believe the new cartridges themselves are fine as I touched the actual ink part (where you see magenta or blue on the cartridges and the ink is not dried out or anything like that.
I also tried unplugging and resetting the machine, and still no luck.
Could my printer already be defective after only 3 years? Would I need to send it in for service somewhere?
What else can I do to try and fix the problem on my printer?

@TomF016, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand the printer is not printing in Cyan and Magenta. Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues
Clean the printhead up to 2 times and print a test page to check the result.
If the issue persists even after replacing the ink cartridges with new ones, I'm afraid this is an issue with the printhead. The printhead is non-removable in this model printer.
If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
