Hi @Gbarrett914,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY 6052e All-in-One Printer is printing only in blue, this issue may be related to several factors, such as ink cartridge problems, printhead issues, or incorrect color settings. Here's how you can troubleshoot this.
Check the Ink Levels:
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Check the estimated ink levels for each cartridge. If the color (other than blue) cartridges are low or empty, that could be the issue.
Align the Printhead:
- Sometimes, misalignment can cause color issues.
- Use the HP Smart app or your printer's control panel to align the printhead.
Clean the Printhead:
- If the printhead is clogged, it can cause color printing issues.
- Use the HP Smart app or the printer's control panel to initiate a printhead cleaning cycle.
Check Printer Settings:
- Make sure that the print settings are not set to "grayscale" or "black and white."
- Go to the print dialog box on your computer and check the settings to ensure they are set to print in color.
Replace the Color Cartridge:
- If the issue persists, the color cartridge may be faulty. Try replacing the cartridge to see if that resolves the problem.
Perform a Printer Reset:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on to reset it.
Firmware Update:
- Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause printing issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
