Hello everyone. We purchased a HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer 2 years ago. We seldom use the printer and unfortunately have to buy new cartridges, even though the are at least 3/4 full. I have set the print preferences to black ink only but it will not print as it want the other 3 cartridges to be replace. As this is becoming a costly exercise, is there any way that I can set it up to only use the black ink?
Thank you

Good morning
Thank you for your reply, but I think I didn't make myself too clear.
The problem is that I do not want to replace the empty color cartridges, and I want the printer not to check for them, when it switches on, so that it allows me to print with black ink only.
I have changed the defaults to black ink only in printer preferences, but the printer still checks the cartridges and will not move from that point.
I have another HP color printer that actually allows me to print without all color cartridges. That's what I was hoping for.
Is that possible?
Thank you

Hi @ANNA_A,
The printer will only work when both the cartridges are inserted and working.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
