Hi am trying to print some pictures today. And I was wondering if the HP desktop 3700 can use glossy paper to print out photos?

Hello the printer should be able to print on that paper, just make sure it falls under 300g/m2 (145 lb bond). You will have to tell the machine it has thick photo paper in the tray before printing to ensure proper fusing.

Hope this helps, thanks.

I have been using ho premium plus photo paper as well as Kodak xtralife paper and I have hp inks which I know are full.   I cannot get the ink to soak into paper so it prints very odd and very wet.  I cannot find a way to tell the printer I have thicker paper in either.  I use the photo tile on the app in my phone.  Once in a blue moon I’ll get a perfectly fine photo (not perfect color quality-like maybe darker) and then it’ll start this wet ink business again.  Help!!! I bought this printer for photos!
