Product: HP DesignJet Z9+ 24-in PostScript Printer
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and older

I use the HP Designjet Z9 as a proof printer ( I 'am a  graphic designers). Before the Z9 we use the Z3200 the colours from that machine were spot on. Our Z9 print colors built up in CMYK with an ink coverage above ± 70% ink are printed darker than they actually are. The colors look correct on my calibrated screen and the final print. We print on Epson proof paper with a less-ink profile, but built-up colors remain printed too heavily. I can't find any way to solve this in the printer's manual. Does anyone know a way to correct this?
