HP OFFICEJET 4650
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just in December bought the 63xl black and only got maybe 28 pages a month per my printer pages estimate and it is already out of ink. I thought that I should get around 400 pages??? I don't know how to get ahold of HP to find what the issue is.

Hi @superchick2006,

I'd like to help!

I understand an XL cartridge only printer 28 pages.

Actual yield will vary depending upon the amount of content on the page. Highly "dense" documents, such as the text document, may yield fewer pages, while less dense ones such as the organization chart would yield more pages than the standard. Printing that uses primarily one color could cause lower yields for that color, and higher yields for colors not heavily used. The yield you experience will depend upon the content that you print.

But, considering factors the 28 pages is less than the regular page yield,  I'd recommend you contact HP Phone Support in your region for replacement options

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

1) Click on this link - https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.

6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I do believe it is out of warranty. I don't see a blue envelope. I signed in to my account. Can you direct me please?
