I had a hp envy pro 6458 all in one printer. I have done everything the other person did and it still won’t print black…. It won’t complete the alignment as well.

[I moved your response from the thread here to keep the replies straight.]

 

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve black not printing on your Envy Pro 6458 printer.  Go through the steps in order.  Also, make sure to check if the protective tape has been removed from the nozzles as shown in step 7 of the document here.  Do not remove the flex circuit with the gold electrical contacts.

 

Please note that alignment will fail if black and the color used for alignment, typically cyan or magenta, is not printing correctly.
