Hello, I bought my printer from Hong Kong and I just moved back to UK and brought it back with me. It won't accept the ink cartridge that I bought here because it's a different number but it's the same cartridge. So I need instructions on how to change the region from Hong Kong to UK. I hope someone can help me because at this point my printer is useless. Thank you!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Yes, we'll have to do a region reset.
To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.
Please do let us know.

Thank you for the immediate response.
As mentioned in your response, I have all the three requirements readily available. Problem is I am not having the Indian region code for the cartridge hp678 (tricolour and black colour). Can you kindly share the same.

Jayaram
