Hello!
I relocated to UK with my HP 4729 printer and cannot find here HP46 cartridges:(
I found several options:
1. Order HP46 cartridges from Indian Amazon. But will they work with with printer bought in Russia?
2. Somehow "reset" a printer region and use compatible cartridge. Didn't find much information about it, only this post about different model -- https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/Change-region-for-my-printe... One problem is that I'm not quite sure is an option for my model? And will HP support answer in Facebook? Or I need to use a paid phone call service?
3. Buy new printer... Well, I can spend another 100 quids on a new one, but it's a shame both for environmental reasons and actually I pretty happy with HP 4729.

Welcome to HP Support Community!
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

I already contacted HP support in Facebook We performed regional reset but it didn’t work. But to find out this I was needed to buy 30£ cartridges — a third of price of a new printer!. What a waste of money and time 🤦♂️
I’ll never buy any HP product again.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
