I have an HP Envy 5540   it's always worked great until this last week. I only use the  HP62 ink for it but i"m getting an error code  " Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed". the ink cartridge is fairly new within the month and I don't print much.  Ive tried all the recommendations....unplugging for 60 seconds, distilled water on the cartridge etc. nothing is working. Hoping I can get some feedback on here.   Thanks for your time. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi @Tmellon,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Are you using HP genuine ink cartridges?

Meanwhile, go through this document and see if you have performed all the steps.

If that does not help, either the cartridge is faulty or the printer needs to be checked.

Update the firmware by selecting the current OS: Click here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
