Are the set up ink cartridges that come with a new printer Instant Ink cartridges? I purchased this printer from Costco and see they are labeled instant ink ready. I want to cancel my instant ink plan as I don't print that much and I don't want a subscription I have to change the plan if I want to print more in a particular billing month. I also don't want to leave the printer on and connected 24/7. So, if I cancel the plan before the end of the trial period will the set up cartridges stop working when they have ink left in them? If so, can new cartridges that aren't instant ink ready be purchased and the printer continue to work?

 

I am still in the free period of the instant ink program and haven't printed up to the number of pages I enrolled for. Do you think there will be a charge for cancelling the program? I would pay any outstanding charges if there are any but I am curious if others have opted out of the instant ink program during the trial period and been billed if they stay within the number of pages the enrolled for.

I'd like to help!

 

The HP Instant ink cartridges will quit working once the cancellation goes through, you will have to replace them with regular ink cartridges to continue printing.
