HP Officejet Pro 8025
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

We have 2 of the same printer in our office and both are having the same problem - brand new ink cartridges but we are getting vertical lines when we print photos. I used both the printer's printhead cleaner (multiple times) plus moved the printhead back and forth over a moist paper towel. I also made sure my firmware was up to date. I am at my wit's end, these printers are only 2 years old!

@SNC1

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Does this only happen with photos? Are your copies coming out well?

Let us know 🙂

Thanks!

Thank you so much for your response. Green and blue (pictures and writing) are what seem to have the biggest problem. Copies look the same as printed material. Here's a picture, this is what happens with everything.printer problem.jpeg

If this is happening on copies too, it could be a hardware issue. I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this
