TONOR ISSUE

JUST BOUGHT A HP COLOR LASER JET PRO MFP 2301SDW PRINTER FROM CRUTCHFIELD AND THE TONOR RAN OUT AFTER 25-30 PAGES THOUGHT THIS PRINTER WOULD PRINT 1200-1400 PAGES  THE TONOR PKG COST AS MUCH AS THE PRINTER  WHAT GOES HERE

What You Can Do

Check the Expected Yield for Your Cartridge

• Look at the model number on your toner cartridges and check HP’s website for their expected yield.
• The standard yield toner (non-starter) should print around 1,200-1,400 pages (at 5% coverage per page).

Use Draft Mode for Less Toner Consumption

• Go to Printer Settings → Print Quality and set it to Draft or Eco Mode to extend toner life.

Shake the Toner Cartridges

• Sometimes, toner settles inside the cartridge, leading to a false low reading.
• Remove each cartridge, gently shake it side to side, and reinstall.
