Hi @gayathri13,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear you're having print quality issues with your HP Laser MFP 178/179 printer. Here are some steps to help resolve the blurry print issue:

1. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • HP Print and Scan Doctor: Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool from the HP Support website. This tool can help diagnose and fix printing issues

2. Check Print Settings

  • Print Settings: Adjust the print settings on your computer. For Windows, go to Printer Properties and select Preferences. For macOS, go to Print and select Show Details to adjust settings.

3. Inspect and Clean the Printer

  • Clean the Printer: Dust and debris inside the printer can affect print quality. Open the printer and gently clean the inside, including the toner cartridges and imaging drum
  • Inspect the Drum Unit: Check the drum unit for any visible damage or wear. If the drum is worn out, consider replacing it.

 I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
