The printer had not been used for some time. The old cartridges gave the message that I had to subscribe to the HP ink service to continue with those cartridges. So I bought and installed a complete set of genuine HP ink cartidges ($$$$). I noticed some lines on the black text of the printout so used the printer maintenance feature to clean the printhead. Tried three times. The following error message came on when I tried cleaning the printhead a third time: "There is a problem with the supply system. Try replacing the affected cartridge with a different non-empty cartridge." One cartridge is highlighted, in this case the magenta. The message persists and printer is locked out. Is it a problem with the ink cartridge or printhead?
