I replaced a previous printer enrolled in InstantInk after it died. The old printer is still listed in InstantInk, along with alerts about its status. How do I remove the old printer from my account? I've searched Community Help and it appears that this feature is not available and that it has to be done by HP Support but I don't know how to message HP.

Hi @AnnoyedinHI,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you cancel:
- You can continue printing with Instant Ink supplies until the end of your current billing cycle.
- At the end of the billing cycle, you must remove Instant Ink cartridges and purchase Original HP Ink or Toner directly from the retailer of your choice to continue printing. Instant Ink cartridges only work in enrolled printers.
- Your final monthly charge comes at the end of the billing cycle.
- The Paper Add-on service ends with your Instant Ink service.
To cancel:
- Sign into your account:
- Home / Home Office: Sign into your Instant Ink account
- Business: Sign into your Instant Ink for Business account
- Verify the serial number by selecting Overview, and then Printer Details in the Status area.
- Click HP Instant Ink, then Update Plan in the left menu.
- Scroll to Plan Details.
- Click Cancel my HP Instant Ink Subscription and then follow the prompts.
You receive an email confirmation immediately, and another at the end of the billing cycle.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thank you @Rachel571, I think I need to clarify.
1. I owned an HP printer enrolled in Instant Ink when it died. Among other problems, the old printer could not bring the cartridges into position for removal, and I was unable to return all Instant Ink cartridges.
2. I purchased a new HP printer and enrolled it in Instant Ink. I think I added it as a replacement but I'm not sure.
3. I don't wish to cancel Instant Ink.
4. I do want to remove the old HP printer, which is listed as Instant Ink eligible, because it does not work and I no longer own it. It has been dropped off as e-waste for recycling.

Hi @AnnoyedinHI,
I have checked your previous case and I see that you wanted to remove the old printer is that correct?
If yes, let's try these steps and see if you can remove your old printer from your account.
To remove an old printer from your HP Instant Ink account, you can follow these steps:
Sign In: Go to the HP Instant Ink website (instantink.hpconnected.com) and sign in to your account.
Dashboard: Once you're signed in, you should see a dashboard or account overview. Look for the printer you want to remove. There should be an option to manage or remove the printer.
Manage Printer: Click on the option to manage the printer. This should take you to a page where you can view details about the printer and its status on your account.
Remove Printer: Look for an option to remove the printer from your account. This option is typically labeled as "Remove Printer" or something similar. Click on this option.
Confirmation: You may be asked to confirm that you want to remove the printer. Confirm your decision, and the printer should be removed from your HP Instant Ink account.
Verify Removal: To verify that the printer has been removed, you can check your account dashboard again. The printer should no longer be listed.
If you encounter any difficulties or the steps are slightly different, you can also contact HP Instant Ink support for assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you, that is what I am trying to do.
I had to click through Manage Printer Settings before I found a link to Remove Printer. (I didn't realize managing printer settings applied to anything other than page size, etc.) Removing the printer has removed the printer from the printer settings list, but not from my Account Dashboard, Instant Ink Overview printer dropdown list, or Printers list (all sections on the left-side menu). However, from the Printers list, I can no longer manage printer settings for the old printer.
I logged out and back in to see if that would refresh the lists but they stayed the same.
