Welcome to HP Support Community, @MFP630

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP MFP630 printer displays the error 30.03.23 – Scanner Calibration Failure, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

1. Power Cycle the Printer

Turn off the printer.

Wait for 30 seconds.

Turn the printer back on and check if the error clears.

2. Check Scanner Alignment

Open the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and inspect the flatbed glass area.

Confirm the scan module is properly seated:

It should not be tilted, loose, or out of position.

If the module looks displaced, gently reposition it on the scan carriage.

3. Test Copy or Scan

Place a test page on the ADF or flatbed.

Try performing a Copy or Scan.

Check if the error message reappears.

4. Inspect Scanner Components

Open the scanner area and locate the scanner cable connections.

Verify that all scanner-related cables are firmly connected.

Reseat each connection on the formatter board if needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
