Product: HP 304XL

When I use HP 304 standard cartridges they work but when I use HP 304XL I get an error message. They definitely should be compatible with my HP Envy 5020 and I have followed all advice via the virtual agent on this. I have now had a replacement 304XL twice and each time have had to buy a new standard 304 to replace this whilst I wait for my return on the XL.
