I'm sorry you're facing trouble with your HP OfficeJet 7720 not detecting the new cartridge. That can be quite frustrating when you're trying to get things printed.
- Is the cartridge an original HP cartridge or a third-party one?
- Did you remove all the protective plastic strips and packaging from the new cartridge before installing it?
- Are you seeing any specific error messages on the printer screen?
- Have you moved country/region?
