Hi @janetrhymer456 , and thanks for contacting the HP Forums!
I'd be happy to help, but I do need some information first. Are you using Mac or Windows? What version of the Mac or Windows software are you using? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
Which Windows operating system am I running?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
Also, can you make a copy in color, or does it come out blank as well?
Please let me know!

I have the Dell c1660 color printer v 1.4. I use a Mac Version 10.9.5 Build 13F34
I am able to print, but it's printing in a gray scale like look. I replaced cartridges recently and my ink supply levels are good. When I printed a color test page (from the printer), the color worked fine, but the black ink came out gray. When I print from Word or Preview, the black comes out as gray too. I replaced the black toner cartridge and still have the problem.
Ideas?

Hi Mrs108 ,
If you're using a Dell printer, I'd recommend contacting Dell to help resolve this issue.
Thanks!

Hi Robert, welcome to the Forums.
If you make a color copy as opposed to a print, does the same issue occur?
Thanks!
