HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer

I am so sick of this.  I have repeatedly downloaded drivers just about every six months to fix this issue.  Time and time again it will not print color.  I hate this printer.  I will never buy another HP printer because of this.  Every time I have to call support and they have to take over my printer/computer to fix this issue and then three to six months later it is doing it again.

To understand the issue and help you, please get back to me with the details listed below:


- Operating system installed on the computer connected to the unit.
- Connection method - USB, physical LAN, or wireless?
- Error messages (if any) - on the printer display and/or computer, any patterns for flashing lights. If possible, get back to us with the screen shot of the error message.

No errors on the printer or computer.  Everything is installed correctly.  Wi-Fi enabled. Downloaded Bluetooth app to phone (last time they told me at HP that this was the solution. And it’s not.).  The printer prints just fine. It just won’t print in color. I have this issue about every 3 to 6 months. I **bleep**, they take over my computer, they delete and reinstall the drivers, change the way it access is the Internet every single time. It takes them about a half an hour to get it working, which only works for about 3 to 6 months and then it stops printing in color again. If HP was to look at my requests for service they would see that time and time again I contact them for the same issue. It never resolves itself. Down loading, and re-downloading drivers never changes it and fixes the problem. When I run the troubleshooter, it says there’s no problem when I clean the color ports it will then print the test page and color but before that it won’t. It prints the test page and black and white. I am sick of this printer. I am going to get an Epson.
