First, I'll start by saying I am no longer a fan of HP. Worst printer company I have ever used. My printer stopped working in May, so I switched to an option that popped up about free print for 10 copies a month, but I was not aware it was for only 2 months because it was not listed. I never thought to cancel because it never gave me a time limit that the "free use" was available for, so it was not till November that I finally realized that HP was taking my money from me when I wasn't even using my printer. Keep in mind, I haven't used my printer in 7 months at this point because the printer broke down. I technically didn't pay anything the first two months I was on that "free use" plan, but after, it went back to charging 3.99 a month without my knowledge. I only found out when I was checking my bank statements because I was returning my printer. I called for a refund on those months I was not using the printer because who would even want to pay for a printer that isn't being used, much less a broken one? I was only offered a refund of 2 months. Even Hulu, when I called about ongoing payments after I stopped using, gave me a FULL refund for the months I wasn't on Hulu. I will never go back to HP because, frankly, they are stealing from people, and I do not trust a company that allows this to happen. And before this goes and gets "taken down for slander," this was my experience, and I personally felt like I was being stolen from. I'm happy I at least got a 2 month's refund, but it was not what I should have been offered for months of no use and poor quality and subscription service. I even stopped receiving ink after the 6-month ink service I got with the printer. My suggestion: trust a company that is not HP.
