How can I change the font style of my printer? The default style consumes too much ink and I have to change ink cartridges too often, which is expensive. I would like to find another font style that handles this problem.

Hi @Nardi1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Select a Font with Lower Ink Usage: Some fonts use less ink than others. Fonts like Arial, Century Gothic, and Ecofont are known to be more ink-efficient.
Adjust Font Settings in Software:
- Open the document in your preferred application (such as Microsoft Word).
- Highlight the text you would like to change.
- Go to the font settings in the toolbar.
- Select a font style that is known for lower ink usage. Arial or Ecofont are good choices.
- Click "OK" to apply the changes.
Print Settings:
- Before printing, select "Print" from the application menu.
- Make sure to go to "Printer Properties."
- Choose a draft or grayscale mode if available. These modes use less ink while printing.
Use the Font on All Documents: If you frequently print documents, consider setting the ink-efficient font as your default font in your document templates.
I hope this helps.
