estimated ink levels for hp6455e

I've recently purchased an hp6455e printer and am not totally satisfied which my purchase.  All I need to know is how can I find my ESTIMATED INK LEVEL for this printer.  I don't want to change both cartridges if it is only one or the other that are empty/low.

Consider using the HP Smart application (Windows or Mobile) to check on your printer.

Example - HP Smart Mobile - Main Menu

OR

If the printer is on your network,

Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to connect to your printer and check its ink and other information.

For example

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Tools > Supply Status

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
