Hi @HEAVEN77 ,

If I understand the issue correctly, although selecting black and white color is still printed.

to ensure the hardware functionality please print a Printer Status Report, can you see a clear printout or may there any issue there?

https://support.hp.com/za-en/document/c05023880

Assuming the report printed as expected, this is more a software issue indeed, for such let’s try using an HP driver instead of Airprint as following:

Please follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Start menu and select Uninstall HP Software.

Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

As soon as HP Easy start prompts to install HP Smart, close HP Easy Start and press the Skip to Software Download button, then follow the steps on screen to complete the installation and check for any difference.

During the process you will be offered to switch to an HP Driver rather using Airprint, be sure to click the Switch to an HP Driver button and complete the installation, then check for any difference.

Following the installation, set B&W printing using an HP driver as following:

1. From the application used to print, click the File menu and select Print.
The Print window appears.
NOTE: The Print window might be minimized: Click the Show Details button to see all available settings.

2. To access the color options, click the lowest selection box listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

3. Select Paper Type/Quality from the drop-down menu.

4. Click the triangle next to Color Options to expend the settings.

5. Set the Color field as Grayscale.

6. Set the Grayscale Mode as Black Ink Cartridge Only.

You may save the settings for future use by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset...

Please let me know how it goes,

Shlomi

I don't know what happened, I can print now, but all prints have this label, as I circled in red in the photo, and the printer just stuck the printed paper, I want to cry!

OK, Let’s try resetting  the printing system and check if that may help @HEAVEN77 :

*Be aware that resetting the printer system will remove any existing print queue and reset any customized driver settings.

Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences .
Select Printers & Scanners.
Right-click (or Ctrl + click) your product in the Printers list in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system .
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type your user Name and Password .
Click OK . The printing system resets.

Now press the plus sign, select your printer and make sure that your printer model is selected within the Use drop-down menu, click Add and try printing using the newly created print queue, may you see any difference then?

If not, also try adding the printer by IP rather multicast as well and check if you may see any difference:

Click the plus sign and then click the IP tab, select the HP Jetdirect Socket option as the protocol and then type the printer’s IP Address into the Address, once again select the printer model within the Use drop-down menu and press Add, then try printing.

Please let me know if that may help,

Shlomi
