hp m255dw magenta is not printing on a new out of the box printer
04-17-2021 08:37 AM

hp m255dw magenta not printing on a new out of the box printer. what I've done so far:
- several cartridge calibrations and printing supplies status report
- taken cartridge out and gently rock back and forth
- checked cartridge that the chip is not damaged
- checked cartridge that the white plastic alienation tab was in correct position (it was)
- tried printing a test sheet of just magenta and resulted in a blank page.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated, otherwise its going back to the store. 😞

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
