i am using a hp deskjet ink advantage 4645 printer since year 2014. just this thursday, a message appeared on the display saying " incompatible cartridge " and the sign or logo for the black cartridge. how do i fix this?

hi there... i tried all suggestions and nothing worked. my printer is a hp deskjet ink advantage 4645... with cartridge number 678, type 1 cartridge. checking on which cartridge number must i use for this printer, #678 does not exist. may i remind you that i have been using this printer since 2014, and never encountered this problem, until now. is there another cartridge number with same same type that i can use to replace this one? just asking.
