our printer HP ENVY 4520 started leaking yesterday black ink, all of a sudden, we are not sure why...printing quality is kind of different, it leaves like a little spot in the front...I put in new black cartridge and it is still leaking..

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

 

I see you are experiencing Ink leaking issues with the HP Envy Printer.

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Even a properly aligned cartridge can leak if the contacts between it and the machine are dirty or clogged. Similar to before, open up the machine, remove the offending cartridge and wipe it down with an alcohol-based wipe – not water as this can cause damage. Then, do the same for the printer head.
