@shashank0610, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The document you've scanned appears heavily distorted, with extra ink, making many parts unreadable or smudged. This is likely due to a hardware or ink system issue with your HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 printer.

Here’s how to troubleshoot and resolve this problem:

Print Quality Diagnostic Page

On the printer:

  • Hold Power and press Cancel button 3 times.
  • This should print a Diagnostic Page.
  • Check for smears, uneven lines, or excessive ink.

Clean Printhead (Built-in Function)

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your HP Ink Tank 419 > Printing Preferences.
  • Look for the Maintenance or Services tab.
  • Select Clean Printhead.

Do this up to 3 times, but let the printer rest for 10 mins if no improvement.

Align Printhead

  • In the same maintenance tab, select Align Printhead after cleaning.
  • This corrects distorted or misaligned prints.

Check Ink Levels

  • From HP Smart app, check for overfilled or leaking tanks.
  • If an ink tank is overfilled, it can cause excess ink to smudge on the paper.
  • Drain any excess using a syringe or cotton swab near the ink outlet if needed.

Inspect and Clean the Ink Nozzle Manually (If problem persists)

  • Open the front cover and gently remove the printhead assembly.
  • Use a lint-free cloth and distilled water to gently wipe the print nozzles.
  • DO NOT touch the copper contacts or use tap water.

Use Correct Paper Type

  • Use only plain A4 75–90 gsm paper.
  • Avoid humid or curled paper that can smear ink.

Firmware Update

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
