my ink is at a good level, but when I print a PDF, it does not print in color. I have tried it multiple times and made sure the box for black & white/grayscale is not checked. I copied something in color and it printed in color fine. how can I fix this??

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that your printer is set to print in color in the printer settings.
  • Double-check the PDF viewer’s print settings to confirm that color printing is selected.

Verify Document Settings:

  • Open the PDF document and check if the display settings of the document are set for color.
  • Sometimes, PDFs are set to print in black and white by default.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure that your printer drivers are updated to the latest version. You can download updates from the HP Support website.

Software Settings:

  • Confirm that the PDF software you are using is up to date. Sometimes, outdated PDF readers might have issues with printing color correctly.

Test Another Document:

  • Try printing another color document to verify if the issue is specific to one PDF file.

Check Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure the printer's firmware is updated to optimize performance and colors.

Reinstall PDF Software:

  • Reinstall your PDF reader to ensure there are no software glitches affecting color print jobs.
