I bought HP printer Photosmart 6510 B211a in Belgium.

I was using cartridge 178 and I need to replace them. Unfortunately they are not available. I need to reset the regionalisation of this printer to EU so that I can use cartridge HP364 / HP364xl.

Can you help to regionalize the printer region?

Hello @Ashish24us , how are you ?

If you are changing countries, don't forget to contact HP where the printer was purchased and ask for regionalization for your new location.

After this process, it starts to recognize the current cartridges

Best regards

I live in Belgium Namur. I don't think there is a HP customer support center here in this place.

After some research, I think what you all need is the following information to give me the codes to reset to region Europe/Belgium where I can use cartridge HP364 or HP364xl

Printer SN: CN19F4101K05QB
Total Page Count: 40
Magenta Ink SN: 2278412
Cyan Ink SN: 698888
Yellow Ink SN: 2195684
Black Ink SN: 3274712
RX(last 4 digits): 0000

I request you to provide the codes otherwise I have no option other than to throw this working nice printer in to garbage.

many thanks in advance

Ashish

Before I take help of Hp to reset printer region, can you tell me the current region name with the info that I see on the printer as below:

”printer

region : 8”

?

and what should be for Europe/Belgium in printer photosmart 6510?

Hi @Ashish24us

Welcome to HP Support Community!

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
