Hello, I have a HP officejet pro 8210 that has the cyan color not printing. It shows full, I have done several cleanings, both, with the printer options and with printer head off the printer with a cleaning kit. The blue ink will flows well out of printhead when I use syringe on the printhead. But nothing when running print test after second level cleaning, or trying to print. I have tried to clean contacts. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi @master110,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8210, the cyan cartridge is showing full but it won’t print, even after multiple cleaning attempts and using a cleaning kit. Let’s try a few more steps to get this fixed.

Steps to try:

Run the built-in printhead cleaning again (Level 3 if available):

On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.

If you’ve already done Level 2, try the next level of cleaning (Level 3) and then print a test page.

Check cartridge venting:

Remove the cyan cartridge.

Look at the small vent on top (near the label). If it’s clogged with tape or dried ink, gently clean it with a pin.

Test cartridge swap:

If possible, try swapping the cyan cartridge with another of the same type (if you have a spare). This helps confirm if the issue is the cartridge or the printhead.

Update firmware:

Visit the HP Software & Drivers page for your printer and ensure the firmware is up to date. Sometimes printhead firing issues are improved with firmware updates.

Hard reset:

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord and wait 60 seconds.

Reconnect the cord directly to a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors).

Power the printer back on and test again.

I hope this helps.
