I have had my HP photosmart c4795 for several years and it has worked fine. Recently, I noticed that I had a print cartridge problem. Even though I installed new genuine print cartridges, they would not print. This evening, I bought new genuine HP ink cartridges, and I am having the same problem. Is it time to invest in a different printer?
I cannot keep spending money on ink, and not getting my work done. Please advise. Thank you for your attention.

What is the nature of "they would not print". Does the printer go through the motions of printing but the pages are blank? Or, does the printer refuse to print with some error message? If there is an error message what exactly is the message? Will the printed make color or black copies correctly?
If there is a cartridge error message the troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve the issue.
