Had paper jam. Then printer said damaged cartridges.  Tried the "fix" HP showed for them, did not work.  Then put brand new cartridges in, still getting error code.  What can I do now?  (please don't say get a new one because I just bought $300.00 worth of real HP ink cartridges to get me through the winter).

@voyageurnorth, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Thank you!  I think it is the actual print head that was damaged and from what I have heard, it is more expensive to get that fixed than to buy a new printer.  I loved my Envy 100 and have 2 more Envy 4500 that still work.  Unfortunately they don't use the same ink cartridges.  I guess I'll have to "bite the bullet" and research a printer that is newer so I will have a good printer with cartridges readily available.  I bought $300 worth of ink and that was the main thing I was irked about because I thought I'd be set for a while since the ink was getting hard to find.

I have had this printer for 4 years & I doubt it has any warranty left.
