HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer

My HP Envy 4530 printer stopped working at least 3 times. This time it is not booting up. Just a blue screen with nothing . 
cannot connect to wi fi. Cannot remove cartridges, just not responding.

I understand your HP Envy 4520 printer is experiencing a serious issue if it's showing a blue screen and not responding at all. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
 

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 1-2 minutes to let any residual power drain from the printer.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on again. See if it boots up normally.

Check for Physical Obstructions:

  • Sometimes, paper jams or obstructions in the printer can cause it to malfunction. Open the printer and check for any visible obstacles like paper jams or loose bits of paper.

Reset the Printer:

  • Many HP printers have a reset option that can resolve minor issues. Look for a reset button or refer to the printer’s manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.

Update Firmware (if possible): Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • If the printer allows you to connect to it via USB or network cable to a computer, check if there are any firmware updates available. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve software-related issues.

Check Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly seated and not loose. If they are removable, try removing and reinserting them carefully.
