HP Smart Tank 750 All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I just bought a smart tank 750 printer, and when I sent the first print from the laptop, it printed the sheets on double sides, but the problem is that the first side came out fine but the second side came out the entire sheet as a brown color with lines, not all of them, it only happened with 5 sheets, the center of which I sent to print. Does anyone know what this is due to? Has anything similar happened to them? or if there is a fault in the printer.

Hi @Yes07

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP printer, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

It sounds like you're experiencing a print quality issue with your HP Smart Tank 750 printer, where the second side of the printout comes out brown with lines. This could be caused by a few different factors:

1. Printhead Clogging or Misalignment

  • The printhead might be clogged or misaligned, which can cause partial or incorrect ink distribution on the second side of the page.
  • Solution: Run the printhead cleaning and alignment utilities through the HP Smart app or from the printer's menu:
    • Go to Printer Settings > Maintenance > Clean Printhead or Align Printer.

2. Ink Cartridge Issue

  • The ink cartridge could be faulty, or the ink may not be distributing properly on the second side of the page.
  • Solution: Check the ink levels in your HP Smart app. Try replacing or reseating the ink cartridges to ensure they are installed properly.

3. Driver or Software Glitch

  • Sometimes, a driver or software issue can lead to improper printing behavior. Ensure you have the latest printer drivers installed, and try printing from a different application or device to see if the issue persists.
  • Solution: Reinstall the printer drivers from the HP website or update them through the HP Smart app.

4. Paper Jams or Dirty Rollers

  • Paper jams or dirty rollers can cause issues when printing on both sides. If there’s ink buildup or debris on the rollers, it can result in smudged or incomplete prints.
  • Solution: Check for any paper jams inside the printer and clean the paper feed rollers using a soft, lint-free cloth.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
